The Pennsylvania Turnpike Authority’s Kegg Maintenance Division expressed interest in Techcrete for use in their pavement maintenance program. In order to evaluate the performance of the repair material they arranged for placement of Techcrete in what they considered to be the “worst case scenario”, a bridge deck on a curve with a great deal of movement and high traffic volume. Previous repairs with conventional concrete repair materials lasted only a short time before failing.
