Application Process

Step 1

Preparation

  • Mix each container of Concrete Cure thoroughly before application using a mechanical open drum mixer (for totes/drums) or stirring utensil (for pails).
  • Ensure ambient temperature is ≥40°F (4°C) for at least 24 hours and the surface is free of bleed water.

Step 2

Installation

  • Apply using a handheld sprayer or other spraying system. Set spray rate to ~0.5 gallons per minute and pressure ≤45 PSI.
  • Avoid puddling and ensure even coverage; allow surface to dry before applying additional coats if needed.
  • Restrict foot and vehicle traffic for at least 4 hours after application.

Step 3

Post-Installation

  • Clean equipment immediately with warm, soapy water.
  • If dried, clean surfaces or tools with mineral spirits or suitable solvent if necessary.
  • Dispose of containers per state and federal regulations.
  • Ensure the curing compound is fully removed before applying paints, coatings, sealers, or grout.
