Choosing the Right Pavement Sealer Base Formulation
Action Pave® comes in two base formulations. We feature Action Pave RT (refined tar) and Action Pave LP (petroleum resin). Both are designed to protect against oil, gasoline, salt, sun and weather, and enhance the visual appearance of asphalt pavements.
Action Pave AEAction Pave AE is an asphalt emulsion sealer offering both protection and beautification in a nonhazardous, environmentally friendly formula. Action Pave AE gives off minimal odor and fewer VOC and PAH gases. This allows Action Pave AE to be used in areas that have Coal Tar bans or similar restrictions in place. |
Action Pave RTAction Pave RT is a refined tar sealer with proven resistance against water, sun, salt and chemicals. It goes on easily, dries fast, and cleans up with water. With a rich, black finish and outstanding durability, Action Pave RT offers both a beautiful appearance and reliable protection. |
Action Pave LPAction Pave LP is a water-based resin emulsion sealer with outstanding toughness and water repellency. Suitable for applications ranging from home driveways to truck terminals, Action Pave LP minimizes odors during installation and provides a durable, flexible seal to protect against damage and deterioration. |

Choosing the Right Pavement Sealer Grade
Action Pave Classic
Our professional-grade sealer delivers a new, rich, black color, while providing improved protection and performance for pavement. We recommend reapplying every 1-3 years.
Enhanced Sealers
Action Pave® Pro, Supreme and Aviator are fortified with added polymers, which provide enhanced pavement flexibility, increased resistance to harmful elements, improved durability, reduced drying time, and extended longevity.
Action Pave Pro
This professional-grade sealer features the addition of a proprietary blend of polymers, specifically engineered to provide increased resistance to and repelling of water, UV degradation and maintaining longer the rich, black color. Action Pave Pro is perfect for contractors, agencies, or property owners who want improved longevity, drying and water resistance. We recommend reapplying every 2-4 years.
Action Pave Supreme
Our superior-grade sealer doubles the proprietary blend of polymers found in our Action Pave Pro to deliver our highest-performing, longest-lasting sealer option. Action Pave Supreme is ideal for contractors who need that lasting protection, agencies who want the best available protection for their pavement preservation program and business/property owners who need extra protection against decay caused by vehicles leaking fluids, etc. We recommend reapplying every 2-6 years.
Action Pave Aviator
Formulated exclusively for airports, this premium-grade refined tar sealer is manufactured and adjusted to meet FAA Specification P631. Action Pave Aviator eliminates the need for job-site mixing of additives, as the specified level — between 2-6% — is added during manufacturing. The formulation will suspend the sand-load requirement while minimizing water dilution, resulting in an optimal film thickness. Action Pave Aviator is for contractors or agencies who want confidence that exact specifications will be met no matter what, resulting in proper protection and performance. For airports we recommend reapplying every 2-3 years for runway sections and every 3-4 years for non-runway pavements.

Choosing the Right Pavement Sealer Form
In addition to concentrate formulations, Action Pave® pavement sealers (RT and LP) are available in a variety of different forms for convenience. Eliminate the guesswork, and save time and labor. Options* include:
- Our Ready Mix contains our concentrate diluted to the proper application viscosity so it can be applied immediately, reducing time and labor costs.
- Our Sand Mix is carefully measured and pre-mixed with the appropriate amount of sand and concentrate for a perfect proportion.
- The ultimate in convenience, our Sand-Ready Mix has everything you need. The dilution and sand already have been proportioned into the concentrate to get you up and running immediately.
